Eclectabloggers talk to Tony Trupiano about healthcare, insurance and education

by

Gary Abud, Jr., and I joined Tony for new episodes of his podcast series, to educate the public on issues of importance to each of us.

Earlier this week, Tony Trupiano was kind enough to invite two members of Team Eclectablog to speak with him on his new podcast series.

In our podcast, Tony and I discussed the new abortion insurance law recently passed in Michigan, also known as rape insurance — particularly the healthcare impacts of this outrageous, potentially dangerous piece of legislation. We also discussed some Affordable Care Act/Obamacare success stories.

Here’s the podcast:

You can read my blog post about the healthcare implications of the new law, featuring input from an OB/GYN, here. You’ll find the ACA stories we discussed here and here.

The second podcast featured Gary Abud, Jr., Michigan’s 2013-2014 Teacher of the Year, discussing teacher retention and student achievement — and how improper use of each has cost the teaching profession many well-qualified people.
