A year later and Ted Nugent is still alive, not in jail and thinks he’s Rosa Parks

Meanwhile Rosa Parks is turning in her grave

You might remember last year about this time Ted Nugent was on the stump, campaigning for billionaire Mitt Romney. At the time, he said “[I]f you want more of those kinds of evil, anti-American people in the Supreme Court then don’t get involved and let Obama take office again. Because I’ll tell you this right now, if Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

Well, it’s a year later and this misogynistic clown is still free to roam the streets and pollute our airways. This year, he’s back on the road with his band and his “Ted Nugent Black Power 2013” tour. He named it that to “honor” all of the black people in America who the Democrats, according to Nugent, are destroying. In a piece for the odious Worldnet Daily News, Nugent said that “Barack Obama…is the clear and present engineer of the destruction of black America” and that “Democratic politicians … have raped and plundered black America forever”. So, Ted is back on tour to fix things for African Americans.

In a recent interview with former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh, Nugent compared himself to Rosa Parks:

Nugent: The law forbidding that black lady from sitting on that bus and her choice of seats, she had to at some point go, “I’ve had it, the law is evil. The law is against human rights.” Gun laws are against the instinct and the rules of humanity and it must be changed as quickly as possible.

Walsh: Ted, what a great way to put it. I mean, it’s time for, in essence, civil disobedience. In the gun movement, it’s time for a Rosa Parks moment. What a great way to put it. What a great way to put it.

Nugent: I could go on, I’m not kidding, you know this, Joe. I am on the front lines of freedom. I have been an activist, particularly for the most basic of human rights.

Yeah, Ted. You and Rosa Parks. Just like to two civil rights leader peas in a pod.

Ladies and gentlemen, you are now free to mock, ridicule and laugh at this idiot. ‘Cause that right there is some good comedy.

(Oh and, seriously, dude? You’re touring again? You weren’t even worth the price of admission back when you weren’t a washed up old has-been.)
