Renewable Energy ballot proposal needs your help: Write a Letter to the Editor (easy with this link)

This is something YOU can do that won’t cost you a thing

Proposal 3, the Michigan ballot initiative that will require our state to source 25% of its energy from renewable sources by 2025 needs your help. By submitting a Letter to the Editor to your local newspaper, you can help inform people in your community about the benefits of this important proposal and it won’t cost you a thing.

The MIEnergyMIJobs website has made this VERY easy to do. Just head over to THIS PAGE and type in (or cut-and-paste in) your letter and choose your newspaper.

Help bring jobs back to Michigan, rebuild our manufacturing economy and protect public health – by speaking in support of Proposal 3. It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s free. It takes just a minute of your time with our online tool. Thanks for supporting this important campaign!

Remember, this Proposal will help move Michigan’s economy forward by creating good jobs right here in Michigan. The burning of coal to produce electricity destroys the environment (both here and in the areas where coal is mined) and creates jobs elsewhere.

Please take a moment to express your support of Proposal 3 and combat the misinformation campaign being funded by DTE Energy and others that benefit from the status quo. It’s just one more piece that will help take Michigan into the future on a solid economic and environmental footing.

Thanks.
