Americans Get It. Republicans…Don’t.

by

Wow. For the first time in…forever…Joe Scarborough gets it. Totally gets it.

SCARBOROUGH: Chuck, it has been a difficult process. We’ve been very critical of the process. It seems sloppy. It seems that the White House has been off their game. … And then we see a poll like the Gallup Poll that came out yesterday that makes me think that perhaps we overanalyzed it, and we don’t know what we’re talking about. … Sixty-seven percent of Americans approve of Barack Obama’s handling of the economy.

Here’s the poll he’s talking about:

If the Republicans think they are impressing Americans, they are dead wrong. If Republicans think Americans are angry about this recovery package, they are wrong. Americans are supporting the president right now and they see the Republicans as standing in the way like petulant, spoiled brats, stamping their little feet and demanding to be given everything they ask for.

It’s sickening.

I’m just sayin’…
