Hear ye, hear ye

I was on the Majority Report radio show with Sam Seder this afternoon. We discussed Detroit’s bankruptcy, the Education Achievement Authority, and other examples of the corporatist Republican takeover of Michigan.

You can listen to it here:

True story: the first time I met Sam Seder in person was when I got to Providence, Rhode Island for Netroots Nation two and half years ago. We had been driving for fourteen hours or more and as I was wearily unloading suitcases in front of the Biltmore Hotel, Sam walked by.

“Sam Stein!” I called out.

He gave me an odd look and kept going. About a half second later I realized my mistake, turned in my liberal card, and have been atoning for my transgression ever since. I am hoping that today’s radio “appearance” absolves me of that major liberal faux pas. Sorry Sam ; )
