Here’s a rundown on how our Michigan Representatives and Senators voted last night on reopening the government and lifting the debt ceiling:

SENATE
Debbie Stabenow and Carl Levin both voted “YES”

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Democrats voting YES
John Conyers
John Dingell
Dan Kildee
Sander Levin
Gary Peters

Republicans voting YES
Dan Benishek
Dave Camp
Mike Rogers
Fred Upton

Democrats voting NO
NONE

Republicans voting NO
Justin Amash
Kerry Bentivolio
Bill Huizenga
Candice Miller
Tim Walberg

By the way, in case you missed it, right in the middle of the voting in the House, the House Stenographer totally lost it and was dragged off the floor ranting about how the country’s Constitution was written by Freemasons and we’re not a “nation under God”.

You can see her grabbed at around 0:25 and the audio follows:

He will not be mocked. He will not be mocked. Don’t touch me. He will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God. It never was. Had it been, it would not have been … [inaudible] … No! It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, Lord Jesus Christ.

Yikes. I guess the pressure of the past couple of weeks was just too much for her to handle.
