Eclectablog is shutting down

by

Eclectablog is closing its doors.

That’s not something I have ever wanted to write. But we’ve been doing this quarter’s fundraiser for six days now and have received precisely zero donations. That’s not a sustainable model because I’m not a wealthy guy who can just plow his mortgage money into a website. And, as I explained on Wednesday, we have around $1,000 a month in expenses to keep this site up and running.

And thankfully, for today anyway, it’s Fake News™. However, if we don’t receive donations during the fundraisers, I WILL have to shut the site down and “Eclectablog is closing its doors” won’t be fake news.

It will be reality.

Please consider making even a small contribution and join the growing community of supporters here at Eclectablog. One really terrific way to support us is to make a recurring monthly donation. You can choose your monthly giving level using this form:

There are two other ways to help, as well. First, you can use the handy PayPal form at the top of the right sidebar to make a one-time donation via Paypal in the amount of your choice. Second, you can send a check (which avoids Paypal taking out a percentage of your donation) to Chris Savage, P.O. Box 32, Dexter, MI 48130. Please make the check payable to “Eclectablog”.

If you are able to help support us financially, we would be most grateful. As Mitchell Robsinson put it, every dollar and voice counts. Thank you for your support.
