Time for a political break. Enjoy (after the jump.)

Marco Rubio’s “working class family” home on sale for $675,000 – come see the photos!
That’s quite a working class neighborhood you have there, Senator
During his rebuttal to the State of the Union address the other night, in addition to responding to a different SOTU address than the rest of us watched and having the Most Awkward Drink of Water Ever Ever, Marco Rubio talked about living “in the same working class neighborhood” he grew up in.
Our friends at Estately.com who are, apparently, Eclectablog & LOLGOP fans, sent along a link to Senator Rubio’s real estate posting on their site for the house he lives in. His house is for sale and the sales price is a whopping $675,000. It’s a nice house with a swimming pool and everything. But, at a sales price of over two-thirds of a million dollars, it’s clear that Rubio’s neighborhood is hardly “working class”, at least not any longer.

Day Six – First Quarter Fundraiser
Pure Progressive blogging
First, a big “THANK YOU” to everyone who has contributed during our first quarter fundraiser. It’s your contributions that keep us going and help us to pay the bills.
The face of blogging is changing dramatically. Daily Kos, which once was able to sustain itself on ad revenue, has changed to a membership approach because blogad revenues have plummeted in the past few years. Andrew Sullivan is now going to a similar model where his readers are paying his bills, making him independent of any media group.
And yet, if you look at this chart from the Pew Research Center, you’ll see that people are getting their information online more and more:
This includes blogs and blogs that focus on local and state issues along with analysis of national stories have a vital role to play.…

Fox “reporter” has new rear excretory orifice installed by Obama State Department
Yeeouch
After Secretary of State and Superwoman Hillary Clinton collapsed due to flu-related dehydration and exhaustion and bonked her head last month, conservative conspiracy theorists descended on Fox News and various right-wing failblogs to explain that she was making up her concussion to avoid having to testify on the attack at the Benghazi embassy on September 11th that resulted in the deaths of four Americans.
At a December 17th State Department daily press briefing, Fox News “reporter” Justin Fishel asked a question that seemed to imply that he was making this absolutely absurd accusation.
The response from the State Department after the fact is nothing short of epic. Check it out after the jump.

Americans for Prosperity holding presser today, demanding justice. For their tents. And freedom.
Aye, aye, aye…
Americans for Prosperity, which lost a couple of tents during the anti-Right to Work for Less rally in Michigan, is seeking “justice” for those tents, gosh darn it.

Punkins! Punkins! Punkins! The coolest Punkins evah!
Happy Halloween!
This was VERY popular the last couple of years so I’m reposting for your Halloween viewing pleasure.
Enjoy.
I love Halloween but I’m not much of a punkin carver. However, I love looking at them. Here’s a bunch of the coolest punkins I could find on the web.
Well, except this one. It was taken by my wife:

Meatloaf pays a fitting tribute to Mitt Romney
Derp
This must-see video is must-see because it’s never NOT funny to watch a visibly wasted Meatloaf slaughter a patriotic American anthem with his arm draped around Mitt Romney’s neck. It happened at a campaign stop in Ohio last week when Mitt was joined onstage by country musicians Randy Owens, John Rich and Big Kenny along with Meatloaf.
Enjoy. And I do mean enjoy (after the jump.)

Sunday Morning fun political videos break
Heh, heh…
Taking a break from the political scene is probably not something I’m going to be able to do between now and election day. I spent about 11 hours training canvassers and keeping their data organized yesterday at our downtown Ann Arbor office. We had over 1,100 door knocks by the end of the beautiful fall day.
However, there’s no reason we can’t have a little fun so here are a couple political videos that gave me a chuckle this morning. The first actually came out in August from the cast of the Broadway production of Les Miserable. The production values are amazing and the message is both hysterical and dead serious. It’s called “One Term More” and you can learn more about it at their website.
That video and more after the jump.
