This past weekend, the Washtenaw County Democratic Party hosted a gubernatorial forum for the top four candidates for governor in the 2018 election cycle: Bill Cobbs, Abdul El-Sayed, Shri Thanedar, and Gretchen Whitmer. The event was so popular that we had to stop admitting people 20 minutes before the forum was set to begin to comply with the fire marshal’s restriction of 250 people in the room.

Our Facebook Live livestream has been viewed over 12,000 times, shared over 250 times, and reached nearly 60,000 Facebook users.

This is a very clear indication that Michigan Democrats are engaged, fired up, and ready to elect Democrats in 2018.
