Kid Rock: “F*ck no, I’m not running for Senate

by

Despite being in “regular phone contact” with Kid Rock, former President Stephen Bannon had his hopes for a “Senator Rock” dashed this morning when Robert Richie, known to his fans as “Kid Rock”, told Howard Stern, “Fuck no, I’m not running for Senate!”

Ritchie, who strangely called Stabenow a racist in his profanity-laced rant, seems to have had the last laugh on not only his duped fans but on Republican establishment types across the country. “You fucking kidding me?” he told Stern. “Who fucking couldn’t figure that out? I released a new album on November 3rd or whatever. I’m going on tour, which nobody is going to print.”

Maybe it was actually because at the same Pistons game where Eminem got cheered, Kid Rock got totally booed.

At any rate, I’m happy to say that I figured that out. I said as much on our podcast back in early September. Obviously in the age of Trump anything is possible. But it seemed clear to me that Rock wants attention so he can enrich himself, something being a U.S. Senator would not do.

So now all those Trump voters eager to vote for an aging, has-been “rock star” who spews profanity, racism, and misogyny on a regular basis are going to have to be satisfied with the likes of an establishment Republican like Fred Upton or a former Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court.

Yeah, good luck with THAT.

But, hey, maybe they’ll get lucky and another has-been racist rocker will jump into the fray. Like maybe Ted Nugent???

Good luck with THAT, too.
