YOU can play a role in building a community and demanding accountability

by

As I mentioned yesterday, other than working with our progressive partners, we no longer run network ads on Eclectablog (the ads in the comment section are part of the Disqus commenting system.) We have shifted our emphasis to building a community of readers and supporters who ensure that we can continue to grow and expand.

When you support Eclectablog, you are helping support accountability in Michigan. Our work ensures that issues like our anti-democratic Emergency Manager Law, the corrosive impact of corporatism on education, labor, and government, and the role of our Republican administration in the poisoning of Flint’s drinking water with lead are kept in the foreground, not forgotten or swept under the rug. We help you understand the complex issues that face our state and our country so that you can talk knowledgably about them and take personal action.

We can’t continue to do that without your support.

There are two ways to help. First, you can use the handy PayPal forms at the top of the right sidebar to make a one-time donation via Paypal or to set up a monthly donation. Second, you can send a check (which avoids Paypal taking out a percentage of your donation) to Chris Savage, P.O. Box 32, Dexter, MI 48130. Please make the check payable to “Eclectablog”.

Thank you for your continued support.
