Eclectablog earns Washington Post’s “Best State Blog” title

by

It’s like the Oscars for state blogs

It seems that our efforts here at Eclectablog have gotten national attention recently. The Washington Post “The Fix” blog does a listing of the “Best State Blogs” every year and a half or so. The last time they did it, Eclectablog was not chosen. However, this time around, we were. In fact, we were the ONLY Michigan blog to make the list.

It’s a tribute to our great readers because the blogs they chose were based on submissions they received. So thank you VERY much to all of you who nominated us for this honor.

Just as importantly, thanks to my wife Anne C. Savage and the incomparable LOLGOP. Without the two of them, Eclectablog would just be some bald dude typing away each day. Their contributions add a depth and richness to Eclectablog that raise it from average to, apparently, considerably above average. I’ve always known it. Now the rest of the country does, too.

Thank you all so much.
