Has there ever, EVER been a worse-run campaign???
Anne and I were sitting around with cocktails and dogs watching Rachel Maddow talk about Mitt Romney’s absurd statement about not understanding why you can’t roll down the windows in a jet airliner that’s flying through the air at hundreds of miles per hour so high there isn’t enough oxygen to breath.
Then I got this email:
Time is running out on this contest — have you entered it yet?
Every entry gets us closer to winning on November 6 — so I hope you’ll throw in a few dollars for a chance to get on board with my dad.
We’re in the final stretch of this important race, and we’re counting on your support.
It’s uncanny. You wouldn’t think it’s possible for a national campaign, much less a presidential campaign, to be this completely fail. It’s truly astonishing. The same day that nearly every media outlet, stand-up comedian and talk show host is
talking laughing about how utterly clueless and ignorant Mitt Romney is because he thinks you should be able to roll down the windows in a jet, they send out a jet-themed “On Board with Mitt” fundraiser appeal.
Mitt Romney. For the freedom to open airplane windows and go broke in an emergency room.

This guy wants to be the leader of the United States of America. If we didn’t have such a terrific president, it would almost be enough to make you embarrassed to be an American.
