Plain talk about a brazen liar

Jennifer Granholm has been positively on fire lately.

I am SO loving this takedown of Paul Ryan and his RNC speech:

“We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead,” Ryan promised last night. He mentioned leading and leadership eight times in his speech. But he’d better bone up on what leadership is all about. More than anything, “leadership” is about honesty.

The No. 1 quality people look for in leaders, James Kouzes and Barry Posner state in their iconic book, “The Leadership Challenge,” in which they cite more than 40 years of extensive surveys across six continents, is honesty. People want to trust that their leaders will do what they say they will do. Of course we want to believe we will not be duped. Of course we want to be led honestly.

I couldn’t help thinking lastnight, we have been sold a bill of goods by a slick-haired, earnest-looking, fast-talking salesman. Harold Hill, move over. Apologies to Meredith Wilson of “The Music Man” fame, but if these guys win — we surely got trouble, my friends. Trouble with a capital “T” and that rhymes with “P” and that stands for “Paul.”

    Paul Ryan is not a fiscal conservative, he only plays one in the media. If you take a close look at his actual actions since he’s been in congress, you’ll find his major purpose is to make the rich a lot richer and to hell with the rest of us.

    Ryan is a hypocrite to put it politely. To put it not so politely, he’s a liar that thinks people are too lazy (or too stupid) to google his record. .

    Yes Ryan lies, and known to be a major brown noser coming up, but Granholm did not do anything for Michigan as Governor but look pretty. How is she at all relavant?

    Both Romney and Ryan trip themselves up with their lies and they lie with a straight face. It does not matter to them that the whole world has found them out they are shameless about it. This proves how much they underestimate the intelligence of the American people. These two really believe that they can lie to us and we won’t recognize it. They think that we are fools or that all of us are illiterates unable to think for ourselves. The hallmark of the campaign run by Romney and Ryan are dishonesty, lies, deception, and trickery. And they seriously expect us to trust them and believe anything they tell us.

      This is an absurd, insulting and uninformed comment. Seriously, it’s ridiculous to say she did nothing. Rick Snyder is, in fact, benefiting nicely from the groundwork Gov. Granholm laid and the investments in the future she made. Michigan was actually already on the road to recovery when he took office.

      Try reading her book. You might learn something about what REALLY happened during her time in office. I read it and came away with a MUCH better opinion on how hard she worked to keep Michigan from imploding entirely. The crap she dealt with from the Republicans and even from idiots in her own party like Andy Dillon is a story not often told and not widely known.
