Facebook sharing of Eclectablog links still disabled – I need your HELP! (Updated)

by

Somebody (*cough* firebaggers *cough*), somewhere for some reason (*cough* angry *cough*) has marked my blog entries as spam on Facebook. Now when you try to share an Eclectablog, you get this unwanted pop-up:

This message contains blocked content that has been previously flagged as abusive or spammy. Let us know if you think this an error.

So, kids, here’s where I need your help. Please share links from Eclectablog on your Facebook page. When you get the pop-up, click the “Let us know” link, and fill out the very short form. The more people that do this, the more quickly it will be resolved.

This is a problem others have encountered and it WILL be resolved. It’s just a matter of how long we’ll have to wait. In the meantime, as a work-around, you can always post a link directly to http://eclectablog.com and then post a direct link to the specific blog entry in a comment. I’ve been doing this on my Eclectablog fan page and it works as a temporary fix. But, please, do report the issue as often as you can. This should help to get it resolved.

Thanks so much. I appreciate all your help.

UPDATE: I just successfully posted a link to my Eclectablog Facebook page for the first time in three days so it looks like we finally woke the Facebook security team up. Thanks to everyone who filed a “report”. We are back in action!
