Mad Fast Trains coming soon!

by

Here’s a little teaser clip from a video that will be released tomorrow by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (USPIRG). It’s called “Mad Fast Trains”.

In the video, which will premiere on the Funny or Die website, two characters from the hit show Mad Men, Pete Campbell and Harry Crane, discuss the future of high-speed rail. Harry tells Pete:

I think you can relax on this whole thing. I read that in 40 years, gas is going to be almost a dollar a gallon.

Too bad that wasn’t the case, but it’s not too late. Check out the video tomorrow and contact your member of Congress to make sure they prioritize investing in high-speed rail in this country. It creates jobs, spurs the economy and can dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Not too many things in this world that are win-win-win.

I’m just sayin’…
