Major lobbying day Tuesday in Michigan Capitol

by

Cross-posted at Blogging for Michigan.

Two big events are scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Lansing, Michigan.

First, former Congressional Candidate Lance Enderle has a “Michigan Citizen’s Assembly” event planned from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Rick Snyder, you woke a sleeping giant (the people of Michigan)!
Citizens are you Fed Up? Let’s Get Fired Up! Citizens of Michigan please join together to protect your school funding, workers rights and protest against the extremist budget.

Tuesday February 22 at 9:00 AM in Lansing @ the State Capital.

We need to send a Strong Message to Governor Rick Snyder and our State Legislators! The Governor’s proposed budget effects EVERYONE!

House Bill 4214 of 2011 and House Bill 4246 of 2011.

It is obvious that Governor Rick Snyder DOES NOT CARE about Michigan’s citizenry especially senior citizens, children, and the working class. If Governor Snyder has his way, the middle class will be gone forever!

WE NEED TO STAND UP NOW, OR FOREVER BE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS!

Meanwhile, the Michigan AFL-CIO is having a lobbying day to protest the Emergency Financial Manager Law starting at 9:00 a.m.

This is the Republican Plan for Michigan:

Step 1:
Create Emergency Financial Manager Law to take your voting power away and take control of cities. townships, schools, and counties.

Step 2:
Create state budget that places cities, townships, and schools into emergency financial situation.

Step 3:
Use government takeover to wipeout all collective bargaining and remove locally elected officials.

RESULTS:
